Default Comp Ax-10

So i finally got a scorpion! Its basically stock but for some of my own mods done to it. I brought the lower links in the chassis, made my own servo mount inspired from Bender from RCC, and i put my electronics on my front upper link with a piece of lexan. So i ran it and so far i like it and i dont see a need to mod it any more yet. We will see how long that last. So for some future mods i think i will move the upper link mount for better climbing. Of course when i get some more money i will be getting a vf dig. The body is just a temp for now. Well now for some pics!

another great mod is moving you body posts up to the holes in-line with the shock mounts......les chance to snag them on rocks when using them as pivots

Some Updates
So I designed a new chassis and got it cut with a lazer cutter out of 6061 aluminum. Sense this is my first chassis i feel desevers a name it will be called the Ranger. The other change is the Goat system and i lowered the body about a inch.

put the rear servo plate on, or make a top plate, to support the 3 link mount

Is the front servo mount bolted anywhere other than those 2 screws on top of the diff?

Good eye. Other than being able to run one big battery pack is there really an advantage to having the servo off to the side?

Its not a big battery back it 2/3a 1500 6cell pack. well to me its seems to have brought the wieght lower to the axel. I got the idea from Bender from here on the forum. I also just did it because i didnt care for the stock mount. I believe that the longer the link from the servo to the knuckle they easier it is on the servo. Anyways thank you all for the comments this truck runs great. Like i said before i won the last FNF at RCP and i was against Del monte aka jake are series champ for socalrcrc.

another advantage is that with it to the side and lower like that you can lower your body more on the chassis and not worry about the sevo hitting the body!

congrates on the win!
