Default wobbly front wheels?

I'm running the axle c's & knuckles from ckrc, which are the same as hot racing I think? Anyway it seems like the bearings dont fit totally tight, either in the knuckle or on the stub shaft. And just a small amount of play there is quite noticable at the tire. Anyone else have this problem & what did ya do?

How noticable is the wobble?

Mines wobbles up and down about 3/8th inch.

I am running the RCP knuckles and C's, there is also some wobble in them. I just thought it was normal. I tried to use some shims between where the C and knuckle contact. I think it helped a little. Most of the play seems to be in the bearings and stub axle.

What wheels are you guys running?

With my wore out stock bead locks, there is a little wobble. I'm running RCP knuckles and adjustable C's. I can run my sons Delrin beadlocks and the wobble goes away.

yes the bearings dont have a snug fit...
they drop right in without any pressure..
they could be just a snug tighter...
and if you crawl like i do you will really get some wobble in about 3 months.

I am running some Mayhem wheels and they fit very tight. The slop is in the bearings. As nuts5000 said the bearings are not a snug fit so there is some slop there.

Hmm sounds like this is a common problem so maybe a vendor will come up with something to fix it? I was thinking of finding the right shims to take out the side to side play in it. On the other hand I don't see any reason why those parts can't be made to fit together tighter
