| Better Option Than MIP's or Punishers
Here are the new Integy Universal Shafts I picked up from my LHS. They work great and are very sturdy (53g). The only complaint I have is that they are not cv jointed, but for $29.99 its a good deal. Right out of the box (or bag) they had a couple of set screws loose, but locktite fixed that. After that they were ready to hit the rocks. For the week I have had them I can honestly say they work great. Now for some pics. [edit] Normally I would never buy an integy product because of bad pas experiences, but they have changed my mind[edit] And of course some pics of my rig Last edited by Whirlybird; 06-20-2008 at 12:46 AM. |

Not really, but if you can cut, drill, and tap the inner shaft its possible.

Sorry boss, no offense but there still not M.I.P. Set screws loose, not cvd... for 10 bucks more mip would be on your ride. just my .2 though. I just personally dont run integy becuase of some pretty bad mishaps. Your ride looks nice, great set up you got going |

Agreed rtooyak, but for my puroses Integy works just fine. Also I will be picking up some mip cvds and driveshafts when my LHS gets them in. Either way MIPs and Integy are cheaper than punishers.

i know! Punisher shafts are sooo pricy. You think $40.00 for one shaft. x 2 = $80.00 + where i live~$10.00 s&h your looking at almost $100.00... Integy shafts are looking better and better |

I'm not a big fan of Integy products. I'll pay the extra money for MIP's

I'm impressed. At least Integy came up with there own idea. I'm hesitant on MIP because I've had there pins pop out on other applications (E-Maxx/ RC10GT). Thanks for posting the pics.

| Ive read the same thing just doing some quick reaserch on them. Typical Integy. But if they hold up and work good for you thats awesome.. I dont know why Integy doesnt get there shit together.. Or how they can stay in buisness for that matter.. All ya hear is bad stuff about them. By far the WORST customer support Ive had in the r/c game when calling about having 3 ripped bladders out of the bag on some Integgy piggyback shocks. (They basically told me to get lost and to bad, so sad)

I'll stick with the MIPs. I've ran a few packs through them so far with no problems. | |

A small band of shrink tubing around the MIP pins help keep them where they belong. |

The whole point of getting the MIP one is to have a CVD...just for strength modified plastic stampede shafts work excellent and are much cheaper. Those = ghetto. |

I work at my LHS and have only seen one set returned. If you loctite the set screws right out of the box they work fine. Ill tell you how they work out for me over time. Most likely will get MIP when our supplier gets them in stock.
