Default Outrunner Motor plate upgrade needed?

Anybody,

I have a HH Revolver for my AX-10, and I need to know if I need the Option Outrunner motor plate? and Why?

The motor mount holes line up with the stock plate. The "Live build" thread states the the Optional plate was supplied but I didn't get it, has Axial updraged the stock plate?

Thanks

IV ran out runners on all of mine and never used one until now. no their not need from what I can tell and the only reason I use one now is it was a freebie.

as long as the motor holes line up and your able to get the right gear mesh, then there is no reason for one. some outrunnings have a different mounting pattern and that is where the outrunner motor plate is needed

I believe, although I could be wrong, that all of JRH's outrunners bolt up like a regular 540 brushed motor. He would of course be the one to get a more reliable answer from

Does anyone have the hole center to center of the optional outrunner plate? I've been looking around but cannot find any measurements.
