Question Am I On The Right Track?

I have a AX-10 RTR coming in. I have acquired a 2.4GHz radio system, Integy 55 turn motor and aluminum front steering rods. Will the motor work properly with the RTR's ESC? Should I plan on other upgrades? I'm mostly a backyard basher. I do not plan to compete with anyone. Just to have fun crawling over rocks, flowers, feet, kids, anything that dosen't get outta the way!
Thanks for all the help!!

Yeah, Integy motor will be fine. I don't understand why more people don't use the 2.4 radio stuff. You won't even need an antenna mast at all with it. Just wrap the antenna wire around the inside of the vehicle and out of the way. You must replace the plastic suspension links. The RTR's plastic crap is merely a place holder, and not up for actually crawling the truck. I'm talking about the long posts, not the triangle stuff. The triangle stuff is fine for a while, but the long posts will bend up almost immediately.
