Default Open diff/spider gears

Hi, I'm about to buy an ax10 how ever I had one question. Is there anyone who makes an open differential for it? I can't really find anything however I did see that the rock racer comes with an open diff but it seems to me that they are talking about leaving the diff empty to make the truck 2wd. Thanks for any help.

could prob just buy the open diff parts for the RTR. I am debating to keep the front open or lock it on my former RTR/ rockracer

The HPI RS4 touring car diff parts fit the AX axle.It allows you to run the side, and spider gears with no modification to any of the parts. It is a complete bolt in swap.I know this works because I have an AX with open diffs I race monster truck style.I could get you the part #s if your interested.I think tower still sells the parts and if I remember right, they are pretty cheap.

The rtr comes with an open front dif. You have to remove the spiders to install the locker.

The open diff in the RTR is an actual diff, not a way to make it 2wd. As as been said about, they'll just drop right in. Heck, you can probably get the parts off ebay really cheap.
