Looking good there Bobby.

Got mine lined up...the Revo shocks are just a touch short for my droopy ways. So I'm getting that fixed tonight.

Did you find the flat head screws for the Axial tranny to be too long? Or is it just me?

First Black widow build I've seen nice job. Interesting body mount idea and great paint. let us know how it works for you.

I have recently built a black widow myself using Losi shocks. I first had my shocks set like you are showing and the rig seemed a bit stiff. I pulled a spacer out to give them just a tad of inward lean and seems to do much better. I would like to add that you can easily flip the losi's and use them with your current mounting position at the axle.

I had the same idea for dig servo placement, my problem is how low I like my body.

Great thinking Bobby! Glad to hear the Droopy has helped make it more stable.

Now you just need Revo shocks. I run 25wt and its slow!

I am not for hijackin but I gotta know this.

I have a vf that I set up for my stock Axial chassis. I had to cut the rear DS a lot to get it to fit/work. When I upgraded to the MFM chassis I noticed that they placed the tranny mounting points on the skid way up front. So not only will the cut shafts not fit it looks like the one OEM one is too short. I just ordered Maxx shafts though so that doesn't matter. But, do you have enough travel/length with the VF/Axial shafts? Great idea about the servo as well. I am working on something similar. Thanks for all the progress posts.

I run the Rustler shafts which are shorter than the Axials...no cutting and perfect length.

Losi shocks will worik fine for droop on this chassis. I'm using the shortest, Revo for droop without too many issues.

Run the "x" of those rods - they are aluminum.

They look pretty too! lol
