Default Yotachump CDW proto chassis

Here is the new chassis from CDW Designs. Low profile, nice quality and a simple/effective design. I really like the fact that you can slam the body, and still retain 3" of ground clearance. I drilled the skid for an Axial tranny.

I used some Losi Crawler shocks, limited internally by 1/2", so actually the .9's would be the correct length for my setup.

Sidewinder and CCBEC
Spectrum radio gear
Vanquish Comp Revolvers
Losi Claws
Custom links
JR 8711
Pede/Jato shafts
Well used(as in beat up) Grappler body

From the short drive time I have on it, it works well. An all around solid performer in my opinion Good job Anthony! I'll see about getting some footage one of these day, and throw a vid together.

Nice and low Grappler

Just the right amount of flex

Ahhhh...the juice Maxamps 1550mah 4cell lipo

I have crossbraces between the shocks. I have the front uppers under the linkplate on my GC2, and like them there. They are inside the chassis, as the chassis is a little wider.

Absolutely spot on mate, it's got all the thin, flat, high clearance poise, and low, between-the-wheels CoG of all the Berg rigs I keep seeing, but with the Axial tranny and shafts

i just found one of these prototype testers in my mail box today and i would say it is easily one of the nicest chassis i own or have seen. quality of finish and clean design make this one of the top chassis available imho

i'll be posting my build this week in the berg area

thanks

The skid and over all design reminds me of the MFM widow. If it offers near the performance its a winner.

Nice looking truck bud. Glad to see you got something together in time for this weekend.

That body is thrashed. I have a pink Losi body if you want to borrow it.;)

Nice Nathan, I assume you'll be sporting this at the comp? I hope to see it.

If I had dig in it, and didn't have a set of Bergs sitting here in front of me, I'd comp it even with your pink body.

It will be there Eddie, but will be comping with the Berg, if I can get it all together in time

Here's a crazy-ass question. Would you sell me 2 *unbraced* sides? I bet that thickness of plate would be stuff enough without, and it'd help me spread the weight out lower down too. I think you should do them as 1 of each or 2 the same of either. I certainly want 2 unbraced sides, dunno about anyone else
