Default CDW Proto chassis

When I first seen this chassis from CDW I knew I wanted to build it up with Berg axles.




Sidewinder ESC
CCBEC
3S Lipo 2000 mah from Maxamps
2 45 Turn handwound motors from Team Brood Racing
Jr 8711 steering servo
Speky SR 3500 RX
Spektrum Micro servo and Rat Shack switches for the electro dig
CAC Tuckers
Losi Rock Claws
Revo 5319 lower links
Revo 5318 rear upper links
Links from Berg diff. guard for front uppers
REVO Shocks
DX3R

Are the 5319 Links a direct fit for 12 1/2" for the berg? OR did you trim them down?






How many Berg's you building? I see the other Berg axle in the background

5319 will get you right at 12 7/16 ''

The chassis is going to work great for Berg guys. I need to pick up some Revo shocks the Losi are to long.

I just want to let you guys know that the chassis will come with 2 Braced sides for you berg users.

Chip's other braced side is on its way to him.

Knowing Chip says it works best on Revos and Bergs...OMG.

I'm a huge fan of Revo shocks...have been for years (ok in my Revo, but still). Any chassis that works for the Revos is something I like to be able to use.

I have my eye on this chassis. I just had one made that is very similar If it doesnt work out Im on this.
