| That thing looks like it is going to fold like a pretzel! needs top braces and seems a little too top heavy. get a low pro chassis and call it a day. theres way better chassis out ther for $50 |

They have since redesigned it to a closed top chassis, looks promising to me, lots of adjustably, and a direct swap over. |

There were a total of 5 chassis released that match the version shown in the original Ebay link. There was some concern over them being able to take a fall on the rocks without bending/folding. To make sure they could we revised the chassis adding in braces along the top. With 1/8" sideplates, this production version will not bend when put through even abnormal abuse. There are many other chassis out there that will bend before this version does, a statement I'm not willing to commit to about our original prototype design. While this chassis is admittedly not as low profile as others out there, those chassis do not allow for the use of the stock Axial shocks. Our $50 price includes everything you need to attach your stock AX-10 parts to this chassis, all the way down to chassis stiffeners and body mounts. There are other less expensive chassis available that work great, but you need to add different links and/or shocks to make them work properly. We designed this around being a direct chassis swap for someone who wanted better performance than their stock chassis, but didn't want to buy new links, shocks, etc right now. The double triangulated skid and multiple mounting holes allow for much improved suspension movement and control of anti-squat, things the stock kit does not provide. |
