i have the artr. its sick get it!!! best bang for your buck. I got the novak rooster crawler speed control (esc) it came with a 55 turn motor. i got it for 110 bucks. then i took one of the high torque servos out of my revo and the receiver out of my rustler. i have 4200 venom battery and on a full charge it last around an hour and half to 2 hours. my 1600 batery lasts almost an hour on a full charge. then my mini t battery lasts like 30 minutes. all you need for this kit is
-speed control
-motor
-servo
-receiver
-remote
-battery/charger

any other Q's

Novak Goat or the Mamba system for the Speed control. Both of these motors will do brushed and brushless. Goat has the BEC built in, Mamba is a seperate unit.

Motor, really personal preference. I didn't mind the 85t on my stock Axial. I put in an R2 Disconnect and I'm loving a 27t motor.

Servo, as much money as you want to spend. I have never had good luck with Hitech but it is a very popular choice. Spend as much money as you can afford to get as much torque out of it as possible. Nothing less then a Hitec 645mg for specs.

Here's my plan:
Hitec 7955 servo
Holmes Hobbies Cobalt Puller 7T motor
Tekin FXR ESC
Castle Creations BEC
JR XS3 3-channel radio
Elite 5iBC charger
I'm still undecided on what type of battery to get, whether to go with a Lithium Polymer (LiPo) 7.4v (2S) or 11.1v (3S), 2/3A NiMH saddle pack, A123 batteries, or a high-capacity stick pack.
