Default B's Ax-10 Build with a Little Help...

Well this is Brendan's ( Stepson) Build thread. I figured he is old enough to build one with a little help. It's a Basic Build that will be upgraded has he see's fit. I want him to drive it and see where he wants to go next with it. I figure I pretty much have everything he would ever need to upgrade later. Isn't he lucky.

Here he is installing new HR Knuckles..

New RC4wd Axle C's....

All done with the Front end..

40T Handwound, XL-5 and TQ2 Rx....

Losi Grappler Body. I'm going to remove the Decals and make some new ones for him this week.

Also got him this sweet Shirt..

Awesome, way to get the new drivers into the hobby, my son has not made the switch to crawling yet but it will come, he is 7 and starting to wrench on his own (with help) for his monster trucks. The t-shirt is a great touch to bost the ego. Oh yeah, truck looks great, tell him I said so. (another ego boost)

Thanks guys.. So far he is pretty stoked. I've changed up the Decals some and made them tie together alot better. I should be able to get the decals Tuesday and installed. All that is left is to finishing wiring and buy a battery.

Not to bad. It has a double Tap Rev. Which is better then a Delayed Rev like the Moped. The BEC is enough to run one servo. I didn't see the point of dumping tons of money in his first rig. Like I said I want to see he thinks needs to upgraded next. I told him I'd split the cost of what ever he wanted. Which half the price at my Cost is one hell of a deal.

His 11 going on 34... It's my 2yr thats going to fast. It seems when they are younger 1-6 they grow too fast. Then it seems they hit 7-12 and go backwards. 12yr acting like a 3yr.

very cool.
my sons have losi desert trucks with 15T motors.
i'm going to show them the pics you lil guy wrenching and maybe they will get the hint. as it is now, if i work on trucks for an hour fixing a torn up truck, i get an hour of labor in return.

keep up the good work buddy, and be thankful you got a cool stepdad that gets involved .

Thanks... He gets to test it today at a GTG/Comp...The XL-5 is a little touchy for him. I may switch it out for a Sidewinder down the road. Also going to take the 40T for a 50t to save on run time for rim.
