Here are a few pics of it on the rocks: With a WK body! More... http://www.noeither.com/rc/pictures/...8/8-10-081.htm My first time taking night shots, I had the ISO waaay off. More night pics: http://www.noeither.com/rc/pictures/...8/8-22-081.htm And here are a few with my bud Scott (another LSU fan). Rest of those pics: http://www.noeither.com/rc/pictures/...8/8-24-081.htm The only issue I have had so far is that it seems to be a little jumpy on super steep climbs. It seems like it will grab then hop and lose traction. I've tried changing the link mounting points, foams and springs in the rear but nothing seems to smooth it out. Hopefully I can get it sorted out before the first TXRCRCA comp on the 20th. So what do yall think? Last edited by Locked Up; 11-04-2008 at 06:56 AM. |

The rear lights are velcro'd to the rear link plate. The fronts are velcro'd to the top of the battery pack. Here is where I got them: http://www.ravestuff.com/products/le...er-rave-lights For the cones, the "glow bracelets" (about 8") fit pretty much perfectly. Thanks needs to go to bowtie for directing me to the lighting stuff. |

I upgraded to a DX3R, a Tekin FXR and did a few other things to clean up the wiring. The Steering runs right off the BEC now. So far my only carnage is a stock AX10 outdrive. Here are a few pics form the last 2 comps... (some with borrowed wheels & tires) Here is the new wiring setup: Last edited by Locked Up; 11-04-2008 at 07:10 AM. |

Last season was great. I was second in my club by just a few points and 5th in the TX state finals shootout. Overall I was very pleased with the performance of my rig. This season is just starting. I had a rough first comp (broke 3 sets of CVDs) and I wasn't sure why. Then I remembered I swapped my steering servo to an Airtronics which gave me a little more steering throw and a lot more power. The only other change I had made was to move the dig servo to the front: Locked Up's forward mounted dig servo mod But, not wanting to let a new season start without some sort of improvement, I made 3 changes to the phat bastard. Vanquish Dig Micro Futaba Servo Vanquish Zero Ackerman Highsteer knuckles Time will tell if the micro servo can handle the shifting duties and how the VP dig holds up. I ran a pack through it in the backyard and it seems a bit stiff but the servo didn't die so. Saturday will be a good test. I'm already happy with the knuckles. They allowed me to improve my steering throw before binding the CVDs. Hopefully that will help me cut down on trashed CVDs. I got some new bodies form Axial that I need to get painted up as well. Hope to have something for the comp next weekend. We'll see. |

| The gates are just tennis balls with glow in the dark bracelets around them. http://www.ravestuff.com/products/10...glow-bracelets |

It has been a while since I updated my thread so... I changed up some wiring on the AX10 for this weekend's comp. I was having issues with the Futaba servo getting twitchy so I decided to power it off the ESC BEC and everything else runs off the CC BEC. Much better now. I also painted up a new lid. Gallery: http://www.noeither.com/rc/pictures/.../12-16-091.htm It came out pretty good but I accidentally grabbed the gun metal color when I meant to get the window tint. I think I was hi off fumes. |

Good looking rig. If you don't mind can you tell me what brand of body that is in your last post.

I had my DNA that way as well (with a 225mg). It has nothing to do with the dig unit itself really. It's more about the servo placement. | |

I have another question for you. What is the length of your tie rod using those VP knuckles? Thanks in advance for your help.
