Default Hot Racing straight axle kit, bent axle shaft

Does Hot racing offer any warranty on their products? Noticed the stainless steel axle shaft is bent.

My Axial straight axle was bent out of the package new tonight!!! One is perfect, the other more like a horse shoe! Built it wth the bent one anyway for now, have a replacement on the way, but it'll be next week......

Ask if the axles are made from 303 stainless steel alloy. If they are don't buy them. This alloy works great for corrosion resistance and is easy to machine, but really to soft for axles.
Is there anybody out there making alloy steel axles, like 4130 or 4140? If so there you go.

IMO the stock axles work better than the 303 stainless steel.

A couple of small tumbles and my RCP axles were bent..
went through 4 sets.. i would bend them back straight a few times before i would replace them..

i now use the Axial straight axles , and they have been awsome..
no problem now..
