Hate to sound like a broken record, but ditto on the flipped and loving it.......may have even got others in the local club to try it now after the last comp.

Flipping the shocks with bent links also doesn't work.

why is that? I run my flipped and they work perfict....... you have to move the links outward on the axle for clearance.....

Do you have a picture of yours and why they dont work? i have bent links on mine and they clear just fine. maybe you should try moving your links inward and your shock outward on the axle mount.

That could fix it, I haven't flipped mine, yet, but I will try it today, But i do have bent links with them on the out side. One question, What does flipping them do excatly?

Got my LCA's mounted inboard between the pumpkin and LCA/Shock mounts with minimal interaction between the bent LCA's and shocks.

it helps to create a lower center of gravity, you are bringing all the weight of the shock oil and shock bodys to the lower half of the truck instead of having the weight on the upper half making it harder for your truck to turn over...........

And one thing I discovered a few years back on my Elelctric 4-Tec is that if the shock is low on oil, the piston is compressing into the oil instead of out of the oil as well

Besides lowering the COG you might even see some better performance out of them. In the 1:1 world if they are not gas charged the bodys NEED to be on the bottom for them to work correctly. Other wise you get bunches of bounce......don't ask how I know
