Default Noob with 8.5 BL setup seeks crawler...too much motor for AX10?

I have a spare Novak 8.5 BL/sintered rotor setup that needs a new home. It is too fast for my 'scale model' vehicle, and too slow for my buggy. Would it be ok in an AX10? I'm thinking geared as low as possible for this chassis, but what do you guys think? Too much motor or not enough torque? TIA

At most i would think you could use it to rock race, not crawl. Not an expert but thats what I'm thinking.

Way too fast for a crawler, no question. It also wouldn't have enough torque for crawling. It would be fun, but it wouldn't be crawling. If you buy a star or accumulate 30 posts of useful tech you can put it up in the for sale section and buy a reasonable setup, such as a FX-R or Sidewinder and a lathe motor. Or you could just buy that stuff.
