| what's the deal with edge chassis and stock shocks binding?
Just put my edge chassis on and am wondring what the deal is with the shock caps hitting the chassis frame when fully articulated? This pops the caps on the stock shocks . Should I, Turn shocks upside down? Get better shocks or caps? Shave a cap a bit? Or will this stop happening when I get the internal springs installed? Seems weird to me to make a chassis that has binding issues with the shocks . |

I have heard that the Edge chassis is best suited for a droop setup. But upgrading to better shocks is a must. The stockers like to leak. Inverting them will help also. I hope this helps. |

You can use the stock shocks with no problems. I run them on mine just fine. You need to place them where they dont hit anything else when the suspension cycles. You can kind of see here how mine are setup. A naked pic |

I ran them on mine with no problems for a while, but have now gone to aluminum even though I never even had a cap pop off of the stock ones. Are you spacing them off the chassis any? Heck with mine I even used the stock electronics plate mounts to space them off the chassis and that's pretty much all I needed.
