Looking good. I really didn't understand all of what you were saying. I like some of the ideas you came up with. A great start. But be carefull, that lady on your laptop is about to loose a eye if that puppy pops out of there... just a heads up. Jason |

Looking good so far...the biggest thing next will be tires and weight. Go for the Panthers! Mess around with weight around the rim..inside the tire. You'll find a balance that works for you. I have 3/4 of a pound in my front and around 4 ounces in the rear tires. Also...move your lipo a bit lower if you can! Anxious to see more! |

Thnx for the reply's! Iam running mine rig at mostly on partial loose sand, so i am wondering if it is an good idea to get alu axles and alu rims... The lady on the laptop is mine own wife, no problems there ;) Well it costs a bit money, but the money pitt, is hang above mine axial, and it is mijn Alu ford f350 hilift, almost everything is aftermarket! I have an complete build story on an other (dutch) forum, where i am an modarator. Dont know if it legal to post links to other forums, but here it is (it is in dutch, but have lots of pics, so that should not be an problem.) http://www.modelbouwforum.nl/forums/...07-2008-a.html Regards: Emil Last edited by Psygho; 09-25-2008 at 01:18 AM. |

Yes, already had that problem. Bought an 0.89 MM allan wrench, and made me some custom spring steel pins, made (milled) an radial groove in the pins, rather then just an axial minor flat spot. Cost me about 2 euro, and half an hour work... Other solution, was, to made 2 radial groves, and put some c-clips on the ends, but i liked mine first idea the best, and it worked fine.... |
