Default LowIsuzu's Crawler

Hello All.

After Playing with my mates ax10, i decided i MUST have one. but it wasnt just going to be a stock shitter.

at the moment its relatively stock, with the exception of rear steer, and battery pack up front over the diff.
60turn motor
old KO 7ch reciever/radio
pc-series No limit ESC
not running any foam in the tyres yet, couple holes drilled in the wheels to let air out. not sure what im going to do with it
9.6kg servo's front and rear. was hoping to get some with more torque, but the model shop didnt have any... bummer.

still gotta trim a little of the body around the wheel arch's. i am trying to cut away as LITTLE as possible of the body, as i still want it looking like a truck.

That is a good start! You will find yourself tweeking and tuning it and getting some great performance out of it. The AX-10 is a great place to start. I started the same way, now I am fully hooked.

took it wheelin' today with a couple mates and their ax10's.

i havn't been bothered cutting up the body enough to wheel this sort of terrain yet. so mine is the one without the body.

Both my mates truck run wheel spacers to push the track out about 2-3inchs.
They have both cut their bodies right up to stop any wheel scrubbin and keep the bodies low. the white one is rollin dodgy rear steer hooked up to the front servo, so turns the opposite to the front. We both run 9.6kg servo's. the yellow rig runs front steer only with a 15kg servo.

the location was awesome, heaps of sick rock formations to make our way round.

all pics taken later in the day with me rollin the dodgy spare battery pack cable tied to the front servo :-P
