| My rtr with titanium shock mounts
This is my first cr crawler. started with a rtr, couldnt get a artr and wanted to be able to drive it that knight. Radio is a mx-3 stock esc and motor hitec hs645mg servo made my own lower links with brass rod but will turn some out of ti soon battery tray on rear axel I put losi 4 in shocks and made some titanium mounts to get the ride to about 2.75in at the skidplate. any feed back would be appreciated. here is some pics of the overkill head lite |

wow what are you useing for the headlights? must be good for some night crawling nice chop job on the body, and keep up the good work

thanks the lite is a cree led with a driver that gives it high low and strobe. it puts out over 200 lumen. you can buy some cool stuff from dealextreem http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.11022 |

Killer Set up man looks great The Head lights look intense.. Bet makes it alot of fun crawling at night!. And for the battery. Move the saddle pack's to the front axel.. And yes there the C packs. Keep it up looks awesome! Last edited by Ax10CrawlNH; 10-09-2008 at 01:38 AM. |

to have a 6-8 cell saddle pack configuration on the axles. you need the 2/3A size batteries. others have done the SUB-C in their own configuration. but the norm is 2/3A. |

" what are the runtimes compared to these reedy 3600s I have now? Im going to make a servo plate that will hold the servo on its edge and centerd on the axel so i can use these batterys. I made a mount for the servo to stand up on the center of the front axel. this gives enough room to put those big batterys up front. I have to much weight in the front tires from trying to make up for the batteys on the back. ill remove some tonight and and see how it works. |

I did some more to it. I cut the skid plate and moved lower links inside the chassis side plates. drilled new holes in the side plates for the upper links and added a cup and ball to the origanol plastic links. this made a big diferance in torque twist. |
