Default Traxxas Tq3

Does anyone know if you can disable the delay from forward to reverse on this controller?

I have a TQ3 and it has no delay. The delay is on your ESC. What ESC are you running? I'm sure someone will be able to help you with the adjusting of your ESC unless it's non adjustable.

+1 it's deinitely in your esc. They are having problems with the Mamba series esc right now. Try a super rooster from Novak. I have just a regular Rooster made to handle up to 12t and i've had no problems with it so far.

Who are they and what are their problems? "They" may be having problems but "We" aren't.

I would have to recomend the Tekin FXR esc if you are going to upgrade. It too is programable and one sweet esc! Oh and the drag/hold break is better with it as well.

The problems that have been mentioned I think were supposed to be reffered to the mamba monster which is a completely different animal. IMO, the Castle Sidewinder and mamba Max are the best ESC's that you can get for your crawler because they're so versatile. I currently have 5 mamba max ESC's, all connected to a John Rober Holmes brushed crawler motor.

The mamba goes for around $130, the sidewinder for around $75
