|  2 Amazing DNA Builds
Thanks to Don at DNA, all the great guys at Axial Racing and Kevin at The Crawler Store, a couple of us put together two really cool comp crawlers that could win a show and shine competition and then turn around and win at Nationals at any given time. The black one, named: Darth, was put together by Dustin "Dr. Straight Shooter" Moore and you'll see more of it featured on the front page, here at RCC, officially announcing the new CFX Slingshot. The second one, named Purple Jesus, was partially built by myself and a small group of crawler enthusiasts that have been involved in rc crawling since the beginning. After driving Darth, it is apparent to me that building off of the DNA Slingshot chassis is a tough platform to beat. In my opinion, nothing can replace a shaft driven Axial build rig.....and ... Lastly, some of the parts from The Crawler Store, such as the new High Clearance steering knuckles are second to none and much appreciated after a long wait for someone to finally design something like that! These are a couple of the coolest rigs I've seen and have had the pleasure to drive. Look for more in an upcoming magazine feature with these rigs and more details.
