| Randy's Christmas build...
Well after much thought and wanting to drive my own crawler...lol I have desided to build my son his own rig. It seemed like every time we went crawling I never got a chance to drive seeing he had the controls.... that and he's getting better than me.....lol. So i'm starting with the Axial artr and adding from there. Parts to add: ccbec cc sidewinder 3s lipo panthers when the hammers wear out.... drive shaft rings losi crawler shocks aluminum wheels grapler body And of course the SHAFT D chassis I'm sure I'll find other things to add too.....lol Here are a few pics of the start. I've added bent links and motor Added front servo and battery mount/four link mouont rear four link mount Flex shot before limiting shocks The hardest part is building it and himn ot finding out.....lol Any input or ideas would be appreciated... |

Hey nice rig. I would lower the ride height a bit. Looks like it is sitting a bit high. |

On my rig I run a a bit of anit-squat in the rear. Up front its more squat to keep the front sucked down on verticle climbs. So play with link placement on the chassis side to eliminate torque twist. But be careful as too changing link locations as to it might change ur pinion angle to much.

| Not sure which one that is but STRC makes some as well. I don't think I've seen them with the battery tray but I know they have the stock servo placement style.

Ken, Truck looks awesome. Did you build your plates from the templates here on RCC? They look like the one's that my son and I built from them. They work great on his EDGE. I LOVE going out crawling with my kids, he's 8 and my daughter is 4, they both have AX10's. Here's my son's rig. Last edited by John82601; 11-14-2008 at 10:45 AM. Reason: Cuz eye kand speeel whel |

Love the Edge, I run one myself. I read that someone said there were templates on RCC for the servo/battery tray. Where can i find that? I have a rear 4 link and now im lookin to make a front one.
