Question Dna dig install issues

I have a VF dig and my issue at the moment is the Drive output shaft is binding on the white bushing instead of allowing it to spin freely. Has anybody else encountered this? What should I do to allow it to spin free? The bushing is supposed to be self lubricating, hmmmm. What do I do?

check the rear outdrive shaft to see if its straight or bent when it spins. also check if hole is completely centered. just check all output shafts and copper shafts spin wobble free...good luck.

I think you misunderstand, I am talking about the output shaft of the dig. It takes so much force(effort) to spin the shaft. It takes just as much force to slide the shaft in and out.

As stated really check the brass pin any wobble and it will bind up...Next thing I noticed was if the tranny case was too tight. or tightened unevenly. A few 1/4 turns here and there and mine loosened right up...
Good luck

It meshes fine. The binding is in DNA housing side, more specificially, the bushing for the shaft with the cogs on it. If just running it will solve my problem, I will, but it feels like way too much force.

Lonewolf is wright, i had to install some shims between tranny case and dig unit to be able to tight both cases really good.

i recently broke the rear output on my dna (it was drilled). ordered a rebuild kit and i had the exact same problem you are having. my fix? ...i put the end of the output in a drill and turned it with sandpaper. until it would slide in and out with little effort. so far, so good

Contact DNA and tell them the problem I'm sure they will be glad to help you out, they are in the Venders section.
