That'd be silly to actually listen to the OG's wouldn't it.

Default soften and sipen

not my fav, but i haven't heard it on here yet,

if you run stock tires, make them a little softer and sipe them or remove some material with mister dremel.

wd40 or simple green both are suppose to work as well as diesel.

did a little of both before i got panthers, which are also nice!

My favorite mod would have to be the GC-2 chassis. Soooooo much better than stock.

New to this but so far the HB rovers have helped the most along with the Hobbieco c170 servo. I have the stick battery on the rear axle, super soft springs on the front and stiff ones on the rear with a spacer on the drivers rear. Mounted the lower links inside the rails, 4 linked the uppers, turned the shocks upside down moved the spacers inside and mounted them outside axle mounts. Works Ok but needs a little more tweaking. Just got a futaba 3pk 2.4 and have a r2d trans, holmes 500 puller, lipo 3 waiting to go in. fxr along with vanquish high-steer knuckles on order. It ne3ver seems to end.

im going with 3 fav mods
-DX3R
-DIG
-400oz servo
everyone replaces tires, chassis (ok not everyone) and bodies...but the nicest for me was those 3...the servo and radio especially make things so smooth

the first mod was battery placement.
I would feel like a RETARD with a pound weight in the highest part of my rig so I stuck it on my upper front links for a fdew days then I made the servo. batt tray on the front axle.

making a Low COG frame coz it works and was free
