gear mesh on your pinion and spur? or maybe metric vs. standard spur and pinion?

Have you disassembled your trans and axles to check for damage? If not, then try it. If so, then I don't know how to help you.

Make sure that the set-screw on the pinion gear, is not hitting the spur gear.

Also check if anything is hanging up in the motor. Blow it out or visually inspect it for debris.

It is most likely the set screw. If it is not hitting bad enough to chew the spur leave it be and run it.

Just pull on the brush leads and let them snap themselves back. See if they are not seated very well.

Pinion set screw.... it's actually kind of hard NOT to have it hit. I have my pinion all the way back and still get a little click out of it. That's my quess anyways.

Does the motor not click when you push the car the other direction?

It sounds like the motor brushes, my Novak 55t does the clicking noise, but only in reverse. I've read on here that it will go away as the motor breaks in and the brushess seat better.

my 55 turn motor did the same thing, only in reverse,, which leads me to believe that the brushes were not broken in yet.. because i checked everything and couldnt find the problem ... and in time the problem just went away>>> so now that my brushes are broken in... no clicking>>>

My 55t integy motor made an audible clicking in it for the first 30 min or so of run time, now it is silent. I guess it had to break in. No problems with spur/gear mesh/set-screw contact.

Check all around the spur, make sure you've got plenty of clearance, it could also be your u-joints on your drive shafts
