Default Dig for Stock Axial

Which of the dig units work well with the stock axial setup without having to change much???? Looking to run one with the stock top plate. Have my electronics mounted to the bottom of the stock plate.

The Hot racing dig seems to be popular with the AX10 chassis, I have a DNA on my crawler though, Its been a good unit so far. Reliable and tough! The downside is that if your running MIP Driveshafts, you need to shorten your rear driveshaft.

get the DNA and dont look back. yes you ll need to move the battery minimum to make room for it , but its the best dig on the market and is fully rebuildable for a fraction of the cost.

besides, you ll want to get your batts on the axial or upper link plates (if posible) to lower the COG.

The Hot Racing dig sounds perfect for you. It includes a new top plate to mount the servo and I think there would still be room for the other electronics too if they are small.

just got my dna installed works great but it does limit where you can put things on the top plate. But with some moving around it works great

I was kinda pushing towards the HR because seems like the easiest to adapt to the stock AX-10. Guess thats the way I'll go. Already have 8cell saddle pack on front axle, use the stock top plate to mount electronics under and to protect when I flip. Mostly run without a body. Thanks for the input, greatly appreciated.

i would say DNA. if you have the means to fab a little bracketry theres no reason you could not still run the top plate

CKRC FT dig works well with stock axial, and you don't have to flip the tranny. As with all digs it takes some time to get right, but it works well once installed. Plan on a trip to the hardware store for longer screws for servo bracket mounting. You will need shorter drive shafts and new chromoly outputs also.
