Default First Crawl With New Body:: tons of pics!

Here she is, I finally got to go look for some rocks away from the back yard and i found some in Rocks State Park, lol. Enjoy!

Had to take the body off for these, wouldnt fit under the overhang.

Overall it did really well, i just would like to know how to get the front to stay down more? I couldn't really climb any semi-steep rock without flipping over.

That looks really nice. I just ordered an AX10 kit and want to get a jeep body for it. That's the HPI Rubicon right? The body looks like it was made for that chassis. Is the wheelbase and everything on your AX10 stock?

my only suggestion is adding wheel weights to the front and getting a split pack battery and mounts , i did and it made a big difference. happy crawling

Try putting a cpl of 1/8th in holes in the wheels and change out the front spring for softer ones I used HPI bright yellow ones. I also put on a set of Panthers with the stock foams. I did all this and what a world of difference.

I looked at the body today at the hobby store. I like it I just dont like the fender flares. I wonder what it looks like with them cut off.

I would reccomend either the panther or pro line memory foams, I have a set of wheels for each, I trimmed the foams a bit to let the tires wrap a bit more, and added 6oz to each front wheel and 3oz to the backs, and with my losi rock claws and losi crawler shocks it's amazing. Highly reccomended.

Try swapping out to a 4 link set up to help keep the front down going up inclines.
