| axial straight axle shafts question
So I did a search and couldn't find an answer so here goes.I picked up a set of axial straight axle shafts for the rear of my rig. After installing them I realized there is nothing to retain the shaft in the housing,no e clip or anything.I run rc4wd axle adapters if that matters. Also, with these shafts it seems you can only run one bearing at the end of the axle shaft because of the flanges at either end.Am I missing something here?

There held in place by the bearing. fit the axle in the housing, slide the bearing on, then slide the straight axle adaptor on... You may want to shim the axle between the bearing and the lip were it sits on the axle if there is to much play... |
