Default Getting back into it all...Ordering an AX10 ARTR from CKRC...but what options?

ok...so I wanna get into another crawler, but wanna do it on the cheap. I was looking at the RTR setup from CKRC, kit a, but upgrading to the ARTR. I think that'd be the best option for me right now...but, some of the stuff I don't need (buddy has a TQ3 and a Rooster he's giving me for cheap) and I want a split cell battery...so, should I just get ARTR and buy the other stuff, or just get the kit and then upgrade and have spares?

Get the ARTR and then buy the electronics.

I just ordered that exact kit with the ARTR upgrade also. I didn't have anything to start with so I figured that would be a good base.
