Default Axial Scorpion ARTR with a little bastard

I have had alot of fun with the losi mrc, but it was time to upgrade to a 2.2 rig. This artr with the little bastard and droop set-up was just calling my name and the HobbyTown guys were great in helping me get it set up. I see some upgrades once it starts seeing some action. Motor is a Tekin 45T flipped to the front, Tekin esc, Spektrum radio, 8 cell pack up front, Hobbico titanium servo.

Now to upgrade the mrc, and see what I break first on this one.

I need to stick a black widow hourglass somewhere on this beast...

Thanks man-it was fun to build it up and get an idea of how things go together. I added 6 oz to each front wheel and drilled some small vent holes as the HT guys recommended-those beadlocks take some time!

Thats super clean. Why are the tires flipped in opposite directions on both sides?

Hmmm...I don't know-good observation. I left them the way they were on. Does it make a difference? Flipping one will be a bit of work.

The tires will get better bite one direction VS the other, the driver side front is correct.

It looks like you can just rotate the RF with the LR.

No need to break the bead locks. Unless your wheels are weighted differently F to R.

lol I don't know, I was just wondering. I'm new to all of this- was thinking maybe you had a method behind it or something.

Nope, no method other than newbishness-the right front one was backwards and I had the same problem on the left rear-since the weights are different in the wheels front to back I had to take off the tires and flip them, but it is all done.

I am new to this too-but just learned something!

Ditch the top tri-links and go 4 link all around then get some delrin links or slide pen bodies over the lowers after you've scratched up the aluminum links. Running a low rig with droop and aluminum parts is like driving with 80 grit sand paper on the bottom. I make lines with mine now that I wasn't making before on my test course just becuase I was hanging up on the simplest of rocks. Now I slide over them.
Nice looking LB tho. I love mine.

Yep that is the one-I looked at it for a few weeks, kept bothering Ricky about it. I got the stickers-scratches will be next!
