Default Vanquish knuckles problem

so does anybody else have problems with bearing fitment on vanquish ax10 knuckles. this rig i bought has brand new knuckles and there is so much slop in the bearing fitment its unreal im afraid to run the truck with as much slop as this thing has. its mainly on the inner bearing with the wheels snugged down you can grab the wheel and rock it back and forth and watch the bearing moving around ?

Thats strange, I own 2 sets and I think they are machined and fit nicer then any other knuckle I have ran......... I would contact Vanquish, I sure they will take care of you.

x2 here, I just put a set on one of my rigs and the bearing fitment was great.

Are you sure they are vanquish knuckles?

Not trying to single CKRC out, but any chance they may be CKRC ones? I know they had a bad run of them when they first came out and there was some delay in getting the machining right....

Steve and the guys at Vanquish are top notch. Those bearings should fit like a glove. I had to slide mine in perfectly str8, or they'd bind and stop.

I just got mine and I'm not finished with my build, but they are hot!

Hmmm,my CKR'Crap' arms don't fit at all with Axial C's,they fit with RCP's on my buddy's truck thou:-(
We had 3 sets to try but they all bind so bad ya can't even run em
also; some had a nicer finish, and some others had a sharp raw cut finish,so no set matched.
After waiting over 2 months for them, the final reply was "how bout a 10% discount on the next order,ROFLAO..ya right!

Are you sure it's not the bearing? Is it original? Metric, not imperial size? Bearing not worn or damaged?

Cheers.

Your knuckle should have a little "VP" engraved on it if it's a Vanquish...

That's what I was thinking. It'd be super easy to pick up the wrong bearing. If the bearing was the wrong size or worn, even just .005"-.010" different could make allot of slop out at the wheel.

yeah they have a VP in the top of each knuckle and from what i can tell these parts are all brand new. the guy who built it never ran it other than in the kitchen to check all the settings. you guys do bring up a good point about the bearing i will take my scx10 apart and check that bearing fitment before calling VP. they look very top notch quality and everything i have read about VP is the same thats why i was wondering if maybe i just got a bad set. i will post up what i find.

disclaimer: in no way am i trying to flame on VP just looking for ideas or help

if there is a problem, shoot us an email and we will take care of it right away of course. We have not yet identified any bad tolerances on the bearing fit in our inventory.

I think some of the first ones may have an issue , I just got a set (from RPP ) and one is sloppy and the other is good . I haven`t called about it yet but know I will be taken care of when I do , not worried . I`m going to mic the bearings first to rule that out. A friend also had an issue with his last week and it`s already been taken care of .
