Default Rear dig

Just wanted to see what some of you all are using for rear dig. Searched and found a little info, but not much. Really want rear dig on my ax 10. I'm running a black widow and the r2 sticks out a ways, maybe it can be mounted vertical though?

anyone using this one?
any other options?
thanks

With that unit, you'd have both front and rear dig options. The R2 dig took me a while to setup up properly (a bit of fiddling with the end points), but worked smoothly after that...

If you mount it vertical, your either going to have a really bad pinion angle or the motor is going to be at the top of the chassis.

true, I was thinking motor up, but that wouldn't work good. I guess just let it hang out. Was really loooking for another way to go besides the r2.

but it doesn't lock to front, so does it really help that much? Most of the time you would be sliding around a cone, not sure if i would like the front in free.

Huh? The front dig doesn't have a lock option? Are you sure about that? The dig mechanism seems to be the same front and back, so it should be able to lock the front tires....

http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=164012 We are going to be releasing our Dual Dig in the next week or so. It will have both front and rear locking. This will also bolt up to the stock Axial tranny. -Jason
