Default -W-designs Mayhem Engineering LS2.0 build

Mayhem Engineering has given me the opportunity to show off it's new Chassis the LS2.0 in my very first build thread. The chassis is awesome and the fact that you can get it in colors to match your wheels or color sheme is a very cool feature. The machine work as expected is top notch and I'm gonna hate to put any scratches on it. (but I will) The skid comes plain so you can drill it to fit your needs. Here is a link to more info about the chassis. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/showthread.php?t=173679

Here is a list of the parts and pieces that I'll be using.

Axial axles w/heavy duty gears & CVD's
STRacing C's and knuckles
Axial Rear Lockout
One off 4-link plates and dig plate
JR 9100T
DNA dig
Integy 35T
Losi 4" shocks
Jr electronics
ESC....undetermined
and saving the best for last
Mayhem Eng. LS2.0 chassis in anno blue with a black delrin skid
Mayhem Eng. Comp Double Phatties Natural with HB Rovers
Custom painted J-concepts Stage Killa body

I'll get more done in the coming week and let you all know how it goes.....
Stay Tuned

Man Andy that is going to be sick when you get it all finished, the body is going to look real nice with the new chassis, can't wait to see the finished project, maybe you will have it all together at the next Paradise Hobbies Comp in May...

Well it's been a while getting all the new parts purchased and whatnot....
I made a paper template and mocked up the tranny to get it as far forward as possible. Then drilled and countersunk the holes

Then I cut down my links and retapped them.

I had the rear axle built but my underdrive gears came in so I rebuilt it. I won't bore you with an axle build but the gears drop right in and are very well made.....

So here is a shot of my built/rebuilt axles, tranny, new links and chassis and shocks

I started by bolting up the tranny and mounting the links.....

then onto the axles and shocks.....

Here are some pics of the rolling chassis....The green wheels and misc spacers are killing me but I have some new Phatties on the way

had to make a dig servo plate......this is what I came up with. Not really what I wanted but it'll do for now.

Mounted up the electronics and made some custom velcro body mounts (there is no velcro yet)

Well got it all done and took it out for a shakedown run on Thurs......found a few issues with minor things but got em fixed.

Got to compete today at our local monthly comp and came home with a WIN in the 2.2 class. I've never won before so all I can assume is that it was all the chassis
