Default AX-10 Shock upgrade.

I'm not asking for you to tell me what to get, so don't tell me to search.

I have been popping the plastic shock caps off like crazy and was wondering what everyone takes is on an upgrade. I like the stock GC of the ARTR, tho a little lower wouldnt hurt.
So does anyone have pros and cons on some of the upgrade shocks? Losi, team associated, alum axial.... ect.
Thanks guys.

I use the Golden Horizian shock bodies. I have never had a cap come off since I went to them, plus they are a really good price!! $40 for all four!! Order some internal springs from TCS to get the ride height down a little if you have any questions feel free to ask

Are they the same length as the stock axial?

The Losi shocks work great with a longer end link. Dubro makes a good heavy duty one for about $4. I'd also look seriously at the new threaded body shocks from Axial. They're supposed to be pretty nice.

i used the traxas tops for a little while and they stayed on better for $3. then they started to come off too so I went to the losi crawler shocks and they hold up nice. keep an eye out for a new/used pair in the for sale section.

I am using the slash shocks on alot of my rigs right now. Strc is making aluminum bodies and caps for them so they hold up great. I am using the shorter front shocks on my DNA rigs and am going to put a set ot the rears on a stock axial setup if it doesnt sell!!!!
I also run the losi's with the limiter mod in the and love them, I used some AE green slime when i built them and no leaks yet!!
