Default axial zero backlash gears

Can anyone point me in the direction of such a thing. I saw these some where but now I can't find them, I think. My truck has a lot of roll before the slop is taken up in the gears. Thanks for the help

I believe it's not the gears so much as it is the locker and the dogbones. CVD's help along with an upgraded locker like the maximizer or the upgraded axial one. There are new ring and pinion sets out for it that are spiral cut but i'm not so sure they help any with your probelm.

I did the overdrive gearing in the front of mine and it took a lot of play out of the whole front drive train. I wish I would have gotten the HD rears too.

Pick up some shims at your local hobby shop. Shimming the gear mesh a little tighter will help. I shim all my diffs in my shaft driven rigs. Helps me allot.

I agree with the rest though,a good locker and CVD's help a bunch.

Have a part # or the dimensions of the shims. My closest LHS is kinda useless and will probably have to order.

The HD overdrive front gears don't seem to have alot of play right out of the box. Probably a more quality part then the stock ones.
