| Axial AS-2 Servo Torque
Hi, I'm new here, just got an Axial RTR Rock Racer. Upgraded to aluminum links kit, 65t motor (thinking of going 45-55t, not alot of rocks here, but tons of trails). I can't seem to find anything anywhere about how much torque this servo has. Everything just says "High Torque". What is the torque on this thing? Thinking of replacing with a spare ae s2008MG (~108oz). Thanks. |

here you can find a big list of servos, torque, speed, etc. . . http://www.fatlion.com/sailplanes/servochart.html i would recommend the HiTec 645 or the Hitec 5645. both good servos and will last. (i run both on my rig) Last edited by sheedy126; 07-11-2009 at 05:41 PM. |

They have 138 oz of torque which is comparable to a hitec 645 which has 133 oz.This is all at 6 volts....Go with a 5645mg hitec.179 ish ...Can get for fifty bucks good value good servos

Spend the extra money. get a bada** servo to start with, 350-400inoz. I've got a Jr 8711 and its awesome! I can bind up the front tires and wag the back of the truck around.

I don't think it's got anything more than about 80 oz-in, I switched to a 645 and there's a noticeable amount of difference, no bound up tail wags, but it definitely moves the wheels better than the stock servo would. I'd be interested to hear from an axial employee what it is. |

In my understanding AS-2 is renamed Futaba 3010 ( 90 oz in 6 volts). You can use futaba 3010 replacement parts if you broke your original gears.
