Default painting ax-10 stock beadlocks?

I was wondering if any one has painted there stock bead locks. and if u have what prep did u do and what type of paint. Also did it stick well? if you got pics that would be awesome as well. thanks

i think going to the home depot type store you can find some spray paint for them maybe that stuff for patio furniture that paints on plastic and metal as for prep prolly scrub them down they are stock and its only a matter of time till they strip or crack this way its dirt cheap one can for a hundred applications

are you talkin the rings or the rims? you cant poweder coat plastic (the rims) but you can paint them, as far as the rings, if your lazy u can just paint over the anodizing and if not use some oven cleaner (search for how do to it) then paint the bar aluminum or powder coat

I painted mine, just used some Ace hardware paint after I sprayed them with brake cleaner. I painted the rings too after I stripped the anodizing off and cut out the inner ring to make a teeth like pattern.

If it the wheels, you can also use RIT dye in boiling water.

i painted mine, the paint just gets scratched off by the rocks

oven cleaner and krylon hammered finish works great, be sure to scuff em up after the oven cleaner

Etch primer is what you want to use, just give them a quik rub down with sandpaper followed by prepsol...prime then paint.

Zinc-Chromate Primer is made to self etch Aluminum,Thats what I used I/o's at the Marina I used to work at.
