Default ckrc viper plate/Battery question

Hey there, just wondering someone can tell me what size nimh battery I can fit on my ax10 if I use a ckrc viper battery/servo plate? (the one that moves the steering servo over to the side). Im not shure what 6cell/7.2v config will fit & I don't know much about lipo because this is my first electric crawler. thanks!

Look at the 2/3A packs or you can get the Elite 1500mah in a loose cell and build your own packs. I am currently running 1500mah Zippy lipos w/ my viper bracket.

You could probably run a 6-8 cell Nimh pack on it, but as with all mounts of this type it sits up off the front axle, and being that these are taller batteries then say a lipo of the same MAH rating, they will more then likely hit on your body unless it is raised up. at least that was the case when I ran my 8 cell 2/3A pack on my STRC mount that is a similar style of mount.

Go with a 1500 or lower lipo not much more than 70mm long.

if you just really don't want to go to lipo then go to www.cheapbatterypacks.com
and get 2/3a cells in this configuration for 7.2v

or this for 8.4v

or this for 9.6v.

otherwise I would go with a 1500mah 7.4v or 11.1v lipo.
