Default how to install losi shocks Ax 10 Artr

Hi know that I have seen some post on installing Losing crawler shocks but I can't seem to find the one I am looking for. I would like to get some input on how to go about doing this and what the best way to have the shock position with the shaft up or down?

Just pull one shock off and put the new Losi shock in it's place. The only major advantage from running the shock upside down is having that extra ounce or so of fluid lower to help the CG. It want make too much of a difference. Try it both ways and then you can decide.

Can anyone be more specific. I have the same issue it seems that you have to use smaller diamiter screws?

I do not have these shocks but it would seem an easy fix. Get a body reamer (the kind you use to make post holes in lexan bodies) and carefuly ream out the hole until your screw fits. Do this in small increments so you do not take away to much material and ruin the shock.

I run the Losi shock upside down for lower center of gravity.

i ran a drill bit chucked into my dremel through the hole to make it work. Also i think most people run them upside down so the fluid stays in them better. I mean if you think that the weight of that fluid is going to change your COG in a 5-6lb rig then thats cool i guess but i run mine up right.
