| Are 3Racing CVDs any good?
3Racing CVD Drive Shafts. Didnt find anything when searching about the. Their pricing seems better than others. Just wondering if they hold up?

3Racing makes some decent stuff, but I don't think I'd trust them for something as important as an axle on my rig.

I would go with the MIP's before the 3Racing ones, JMO |

Id love to have the MIP but 3R is 1/2 the price. Just wondered if they were much better than the stock driveshafts.

| Are u talking drive shafts or axles ?? No experience with axles but driveshafts I have. And the Dig with the short shaft.Only problem I've had is the set screws coming loose. Buy extra set screws and put them on both sides of each joint & tighten the heck out of them , problem solved. I love mine. Very strong. Shafts slide easy , would recomend to anyone. This is just my experience and opinion. Also have the same setup on my sons truck. Now you just asked about the shafts DON'T BUY THE DIG. Save your headache and buy DNA or Vanquish.

CVD Driveshafts, not front and rear axles. Not running DIG.

I hated the axial cvd, they fit the bearings so loosely, the wheels would wobble. I picked up a set of the 3Racing and have been very happy with them. They have a bigger pin than the axial and they fit the bearings in the 'C' much better than the axial version. I've been beating on them with a 3S lipo and a heavy joystick throttle finger ( stick radio!) and they have been holding up so far.

Ive run both Axial and 3Racing CVDs and havent had a single problem with mine. If you dont run a slipper and like to get trigger/bind happy then you may like a friend of mine did. He went through 3 pins in 3Racing and 2 pins with Axials. I run a slipper and havent had a single failure yet. But if its MIP pricing thats detering you, you can get just the front set if you want for around the same price as 3Racing. http://www.rcslot.com/pc-radio-contr.../MIP08102.html Part MIP08102. R-CVD Front / Rear Set: AX10 -> its just 1 pair for 1 axle 28.85$ Last edited by Robbob; 08-27-2009 at 06:14 AM. | |
