Default Slash shocks on X-Trail chassis??

Has anyone tried the front shocks off from a slash on an x-trail chassiss? I was using the stock axial shocks in full droop and would like some up travel.

thanks
Jason

90mm shocks are the best for the X-Trail when running traditional shocks.

im running the stock slash front shocks on my x-trail with the progressive springs. it drives and climbs alot better then i thought it would considering how stiff the springs are in such a vertical mounting position. i have a set of softer springs on order so i can play around with options. btw, im running a 13.?? in wheelbase with a jk hard body and i ran a stock wheely king 27t motor with a 7 cell 4600 pack and with the heavy hard body and the pack mounted horizontally just behind the front shock towers the thing would stand right up on the back bumper from a standstill. i have since switched the motor to a more friendly 65t still with the 7 cell pack (holy 2.5hrs runtime on it and its still not showing any signs of battery running out). but all in all i think the front slash shocks with some softer springs are perfect especially for the price ($15 for all 4 assembled right off a slash (well 2) outta the box at the hobby shop)
