this might sound dumb, but what makes the swx or any aftermarket chassis work better than a modified stock chassis?

thanks guys. I have a mini GC2 and like it a lot. I still can't beat Austin (gatekeeper) though. I've driven his mini and the electronics are MUCH smoother than mine. Allows for much more control.

| The suspension geometry is very different between the various chassis, and each drives a little differently. Much of the preference depends on driving style, as the differences change where and when the truck grips.

The SWX and GC2 are both pretty good choices. Other things to consider are getting all weight as low as possible, having decent steering angles, and a good shock setup.

I switched to the SWX a month ago. In the 2 comps I've ran since then i had my best finishes, 6th and 13th(still no dig) I'm pretty new to this so my driving gets better each time I go out, but having the SWX helps also. Pretty much any aftermarket chassis will allow you to set it up to your liking, somthing your limited in with the stocker. |
