| Axial rtc bad reciever?
Just bought an axial rtc, replaced the motor and esc w/ a novak rooster crawler. Everything ran fine for a couple of days, now i have glitching. Could it be the stock radio/reciever that needs to be replaced?

Did it have any glitching prior to replacing the motor and esc? May want to recheck your connections into the rx and also verify that the little crystal on both the rx and tx are fully inserted. |

My ax10 is about a week old and started doing the same thing. I can get about 6 feet from it before it starts glitching. I'm in the process of installing a new receiver that came with a different radio my brother gave me. I'll let you know if it fixes the problem. I checked the wires and chrystals already and nothing helped.

Mine's fixed. You may want to try replacing your batteries in your transmitter. My battery light started blinking just before shutting it off yesterday so they may have just been too low to send a good signal. Apparently they only last about 5 hrs of running. The radio I am using has adjustable end points and my ax10 turns much sharper now so you may just want to get a better radio anyway.

No, it seemed fine prior to and after i switched to the new esc, i even tried to switch the crystals. I'm going to call axial, but i'm probably going to switch the radio to a 2.4 from airtronics. By the way, thanks for replying this is my first time on here.

Check to see if your antenna is broke from the receiver.

RTR-radios (AM-27mHz) took easily glitches from many places. You can try to re-locate your receiver-antenna far away from motor's & battery's wires, because there flows massive voltages. You can also take solder to your hand and weld glitch removing-condensators to your motor (dunno how this will work on axial's stock 55t, but with lathe, it works properly.).

I had that same Radio from a kit that I hooked up just to test for a minute and recently I purchased the new Futaba 3pm-mx and I definately notice it is a lot smoother.

There are many $100 2.4ghz radios out there. Now is a good time to buy one. I own the RC4WD 2.4ghz and it works like a champ. |
