Default heavy or light weight?

so i am working on a ax10 based rig, i am curious do most people like a light weight rig or a heavy one, we all know we want the cg low, how light is a light crawler what to do to get it? whats a heavy crawler weight? i work at a place that deals with composites i am trying to decide if i should biuld a carbon crawler
thats light weight, or if its not worth it, thanks every one!

Build it light and put the weight where you want it. Thats the best way. Find the right combo for you.

Yup, leightweight is the way to go. You'd be lucky to get it below 5lbs. ready to run, but somewhere in that mid 5lbs range is a great starting point.

Im running a 6.5lb rig and loving it. Once you get too heavy you just hurt run time and put unneeded stress on parts.
