| New Chassis!
Here is how it looks so far! Need to maount the eletriconics and figure out how to mount the body. The other issue I am having is the motor doesnt fit with the trans mirrored. If I am going to keep it that way then I will have to drill and move the tranny forward a bit. Kept binding up, so I want to the hardware store and longer 4-40's and moved the lower links inward. realy seemed to help. Need to get some hardened 4-40's had the LHS. migght not be worth "mirroring" the tranny since you are going to need to bring it back to it's original setup, if you are going to install dig.

Get DNA dig! ATI (formerly DNA) is having a blowout sale.... look up under axles & tranny in Vendor section. Hurry!! It won't last. I already got some. Last edited by Mudsy; 10-17-2009 at 10:15 AM. |

Crazy dude... how is the dual servos steering working out for you so far? And as for not fitting with mirroring, why not just swap the plates?

If you're going to keep the mirrored transmission then you have the transmission mounted 180 degrees wrong. Spur gear goes in back, and the motor sits on the passenger side front. I'd extend the rear upper links a lot too. |

On the other hand, I have to limit the through of the servos bucause when turning the out side wheel tends to turn in more than the inner causing the inner to lift when making a tight turn on a flat sruface! Front tire lifting seems to have went away with the addition of this chassis! Last edited by prophetz; 10-17-2009 at 08:44 PM.

I went ahead and put it back to stock for the time being! Until i decide to dig or not to dig! Thanks for the advice on the rear upper links. Added about 3/8" to them and it made a world of difference! Last edited by prophetz; 10-17-2009 at 08:42 PM.
