Default 4WS or DIG?????????

i recently ordered the aggressor SRX 3 channel radio from trail-gear.com im understanding this opens my choices up to switching the steering servo's from parralel to one another or opposite. would i have a choice of one stationary position on one servo and engage it when id like to???
or should i just go with the dig and rip off the rear stear???

OPINIONS!!!!!!!???????

When it comes down to manuverability, 4ws doesn't even come close to a dig.

.... not sure about crap, but maybe a waste of time and money. go with a good dig and you wont need rear steer. my rig will almost pivot on the rear tire!

Yes, but you can't crabwalk with dig.

Of course, you can't comp with rear steer...

I prefer dig to rear steer. Much more usefull.

Get the steel outputs, they'll last forever.

Dig locks, freewheels, or powers an axle.

Mechanical dig is used on shafties and most commonly on the rear axle.

Electronic dig is used on MOA's and has the capability to effect both front and rear via the motors.

You can also use the glossary of terms. Its found stickied to the very top of the Newbie page...

Or you could throw $30 worth of metal gears in the one you have and open your dig options up to pretty much anything you want.

lol thats a bit much considering this is the ax10 section, is that what you did to ur ax10? haha jk:-P thats a bit expensive im just trien to make my crawler worth my time instead of the same rear stear.

so on the otherhand, canceling out the rear stear would this give me more battery range too???

I hear the R2D is geard lower than the stock tranny, should i upgrade to a higher turn motor??(running the green cheap rtr motor, got it for $5 dont judge me) should i still pickup the aggressor srx 3channel??? whats the best for my skrilla??

There are several dig units from various vendors that bolt right up to the Axial trans. Go to the drivetrain section in the vendors area and look around. Eritex, VP, DNA, and others have something to offer.

The R2 is not a direct bolt in. It is a kind of "universal" transmission. You can use it for just about anything you want.
