Default 3 or 4 link setups ?

I see alot of people going to a 4 link setup..... I would if I had any probs with the stock 3 link deal, the rig flex's more than enough as is.

Is it for the torque twist ? More flex ? Smoother flex ?

Please explain why you went from 3 to 4 link setups !

For now I like the 3 link..

swapping top a 4 link will give you a smoother more predicable suspention movement, its stronger then the 3 link, since the forces are applied to 2 ball ends rather then one, it helps eliminate TT. It doesnt nessisarily give you more flex just makes the flex you have better, to much flex isnt always a good thing any way

I would say 4-link reduces flex, and as mentioned before, it makes the suspension more predictible

I went for it because it's stronger and the placebo effect of reducing torque twist Eventually you will break the y connector or the ball will get sloppy and you'll get alot of axle wrap.

I went 4-link rear and I am going 4-link front. 3-Link is a bit un-predictable and I found the car getting "stuck" way to much by over articulating... putting to much strain on the shock caps (ya can we say I popped a few of them ). I am working on some custom PDF's for plates... should get em out soon

I see how a 4 link would make it stronger, I will try and work out a better mounting point for a stronger 3 link and also replace the stock ball end with a TRAXXAS unit...
