Nice. You went back to a body? Those the 1.9's or 2.2's?
I probably should have never gotten rid of that chassis. But you are putting it to better use than me!

1.9s

I only ran it without the body at the Green river comp. It's always had the narrowed betty or the 1:18 grappler... until now!

...and thanks for selling it to me

I probably could with lots of effort. The 1:10 front cap was too damn big and the 1:18 cab was too damn small, so I improvised. I kinda like the hacked up look.

I would probably need to cut less off of the 1:10 cab by leaving more of the hood section. Hell man I didn't have a plan. I just sat down one night with the two bodies and I got to cutting

Hey folks, How well do you think my 27t axial motor w/18tooh pinion will hold up on 3s 10c Lipo?

The truck fares fine with it. non stop donuts.

10c, I dunno, sounds iffy. I didn't do the algebra to calculate the amp draw on the pack but I probably wouldn't, esp. if your trigger heavy. Could be a safety issue?

I've been running a 2000 2c on the 27t motor with 18t pinion for a few months now and no smoke. I originally posted that the motor was smoked but that was due to something binding in the drivetrain. After a quick tear down and tightening everything back up it works fine.

you realize most servo's could smoke that battery right? 4 amps, wow. whats the mah of the 10c 3s your running now if it's a 2000 thats 20 amps which is a big improvement over what you had but still not even half enough amps IMO.

No this is all wrong..... when you typed 2c for some reason I read it as 2s. The previous battery was a 2000mah 2S 20C lipo.

I put a 45t v11 in the rig tonight and I think I'm gonna run this for a little while with the 11.1 1250 10c. I've been running this combo in my 2.2 for little over a year now.

Here are some pics from the Shootout in The Hills Comp at Superlift ORV. I finished out in 3rd place and got a sweet trophy to add to my collection.

Well this rig was a racer at first, but now its more of a trail rig. It never really was a true racer anyway. I put some longer lowers on the front and I also got a hold of some scx wheels and tires. The rings were stripped and the wheels were painted. I'm running someCrawler Innovations Lil' Novas in them and that foam is perfect for the flat iron m2 compound. They are soft enough to let the tire do some work since the compound isn't so great but the flat iron sidelugs really help with sidewall stiffness. I have the wheels sealed for mud and water and this setup flat out works. I did do a little custom work on those flat irons, though.

Great rig but dont like the body................. man that rear cross brace/ fourlink mount is what I am working on for mine, how stiff is it only bolted to the top of the axle ? I was thinking a pair of bars with tabs tie'n into the pumpkin bolts also... and a pumpkin skid but waiting on spacers and longer bolts..
What was your upper rear link length again ?

The 4 link was made by a friend and it is mounted into the two holes on each side of the axle. It is very sturdy. The rear uppers are 91mm eye to eye with a 64mm link.

Here are some closeups of the 4 link and flat iron pattern. I got the tire cut idea from Constantmotion and 66sprint6. The 4link was made from my buddy who lives in M to da I to da S to da S to da I to da S to da S to da I to da P to da P to da I.
