no voltage cutoff with that esc, too much voltage for it , and it will melt Moped V16r Specs. (Forward/Reverse) Input Voltage: 4.8v-8.4v (4-7cells) "ON" resistance: 0.00056 OHM Impulse Current of MOSFET: 70A PWM Frequency: 2k - 4KHz BEC output voltage: 5.0v (2A) just use your stock esc and get a 7-8 cell pack or a 2 cell lipo with external voltage cutoff , and switch to a lower turn motor like a 55 or 45 turn and you will be much happier |

a 55turn is a faster turn than a 85 . the 3 cell lipo is gonna be too much for a stock esc and u still would need an external voltage cutoff anyways. get a sidewinder esc if u want to run a lipo especially a 3 cell but a 55t motor works really good on 3 cells. |

No go on the moped.......ask me how I know...... p.s. 8 cell nimh is to much. They are great little esc's but they are at there limit with 7 cells, no question. |

Have you guys tried a 2s lipo? I can't find a definite answer on this. Also, what is an external voltage cutoff? Would a 2s lipo run longer than a 6 or 7 cell? Sorry, I'm a newbie. |

This would be a Lipo cut-off for a 2s. |
